ECO: Exact Computing

The ECO team (Exact COmputing) was created in 2014. The main area of expertise of the ECO members is exact computing, as found more specifically in computer algebra, cryptography, coding theory and algorithmic number theory. Its research activities focus on arithmetic of mathematical objects (such as integers, polynomials, finite fields, number fields), elliptic curves and their applications in cryptography, exact linear algebra, high-performance algebraic computing, foundations of number systems and error correcting code, as well as their links with computer algebra.Team web site: www.lirmm.fr/eco
